Every photo and
story will be
checked by Miss Doll World moderators and
may be deleted if it doesn't meet our
requirements and rules. We reserve the right to
delete or remove any photo, text or link we deem to be
inappropriate. No refunds or credits will be given
for entries that are deleted due to a violation of
contest rules. |

No purchase is necessary to enter. To enter free be sure to follow the rules above and send one (1) 4x6 photo you wish to enter of your doll. On the back of the photo, write your full name, address, phone number and email address. Include on a separate 3x5 card your doll's name, and story as well as your full name and email address. Only one entry is allowed per envelope. Mail your entry to:

If you fail to comply with entry requirements and mail in requirements your entry will be void. We are not responsible for lost, delayed or damaged entries. Contest entries will not be returned and become property of Miss Doll World. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for free mail in entries to be posted.
Upon Miss Doll World's request, the winning entrant must provide a signed Model/Photo release and/or license for any person who appears in the photograph submitted, authorizing use of the photograph in Miss Doll World's editorial publications, marketing and promotions in any and all media now known or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity, without additional compensation, permission or notification, unless prohibited by law. All releases must be in the form provided by Miss Doll World. Failure to provide such releases within 15 days from the date of notice will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
In addition all winners must sign an Affidavit of Eligibility.

Contest Prizes
The Miss Doll World 2009 Beauty Pageant Competitions™ has three (3) categories:

Miss Fashion Doll World ™ for dress up dolls such as Barbie ®, Bratz ®, My Scene ® or similar dolls.

Miss Baby Doll World™ for baby dolls.

Miss Doll World™ for stand up dolls or similar.

The photo of Miss Fashion Doll World 2009 will also be a featured face of Miss Doll World on www.MissDollWorld.com.

Prizes are subject to change or substitution. In the event of a change in a prize or the unavailability of a service offered in a prize, a replacement prize of equal or greater value will be given. Miss Doll World reserves the right to provide a cash prize in exchange for a prize or service that is unavailable.

All Winners will be awarded as represented unless there are less than a total of 50 entrants per category. If there are less than 50 entrants in a particular category, the prizes will be prorated accordingly using a percent scale then issued to the winning entrant. Example: If there are 10 entrants in a category, the winning entrant would receive 20% of stated cash prize.

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

CASH prizes are paid in the form of certified funds by mail.
1 The address where the Prize will be mailed is the address given by User during registration. The winner is responsible for the correct information in his/her profile. The Prize will be mailed to the address in the User Profile no later than July 1, 2009.
Judging
Miss Doll World™ is not responsible for judging. Voters on the site will
determine the winners in all categories. The voting is free and everyone
can vote so many times as they want including for themselves.
License
Selected entries may be published by Miss Doll World or its designee in one of
Miss Doll World's brochures or on their web sites, or in any other medium, in
Miss Doll World's discretion. By participating, all entrants grant an
irrevocable license in the Entries to Miss Doll World, its licensees and
affiliates and their designees (collectively, the "Authorized
Parties") and acknowledge that any Authorized Party may utilize,
edit, modify, reproduce, publish, distribute or otherwise use the
Entries and all elements of such Entries, including, without
limitation, the names and likenesses of any persons or locations
embodied therein, in any media now or hereafter known, without the
restriction, including commercially using and publishing the Entries
to fullest extent possible in perpetuity, without additional
consideration, notification, permission to entrant or any third
party, unless prohibited by law. Additionally, by participating,
each entrant grants to Authorized Parties the unrestricted right to
use all statements made in connection with the Contest, and pictures
or likeness of Contest participants, or choose not to do so, at its
sole discretion, for no additional consideration, notification or
approval except where prohibited by law.
Limitation of Liability
By participating, Entrants agree to release, discharge and hold
harmless Miss Doll World and their partners, affiliates, subsidiaries,
advertising agencies, agents and their employees, officers,
directors, and representatives from any claims, losses, and damages
arising out of their participation in this Contest or any
Contest-related activities and the acceptance and use, misuse, or
possession of any prize awarded hereunder.
Conditions
THIS CONTEST IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW. This
Contest is subject to federal, state, and local laws and
regulations. Certain restrictions may apply. Entries are void if Miss Doll World determines
the photograph to not be an original, or if the entries are
illegible, incomplete, damaged, irregular, altered, counterfeit,
produced in error or obtained through fraud or theft.
Participants also agree (a) to be bound by these Official Rules; and
(b) that the decisions of the Miss Doll World are final on all matters
relating to the Contest. All federal, state and local taxes, fees
and surcharges on prizes are the sole responsibility of the prize
winners. In the event that the selected winner(s) of any prize
are/is ineligible or refuses the prize, the prize will be forfeited
and Miss Doll World,
in its sole discretion, may choose whether to award the prize to
another winner.
